We have an opening for an assistant or trainee sail maker at Batt Sails. Training is given where needed and over time he / she will be involved in all aspects of the sail loft’s activities.
Batt Sails is a very successful independent sall manufacturing business, now in its 45th year. At our sail loft in Bosham we make racing and cruising sails for yachts and dinghies with customers all over the British Isles and beyond. We also make covers and other canvas items for boats as well as servicing and repairs for boat owners in Chichester Harbour and all along the West Sussex and Hampshire coast.
The sail loft is modern and very well-equipped. Lucky to be sited in a delightful rural location, it is adjacent to a Co-oP and Post Office, and ‘The Crate’ cafe. There is plenty of parking and Bosham Station and the regular bus service to Emsworth and Chichester are close by.
