All our sail making is kept in-house for the closest control of quality and consistency. The current National 18 sails were all designed on our 3D CAD system and are computer cut for enduring precision and repeatability.
National 18’s frequently vary subtley in mast height, jib sheeting, mast design, rigging and other key factors. This often needs individual attention
We always aim to maximise sail area within the rules. This is achieved by determining the right jib profile to suit a boat’s sheeting and other rig arrangements. Once the area of that sail is known, the mainsail can be configured to achieve the maximum total sail area.
