This great photo is from an Endeavour Trophy event in the 1980’s. Burnham has hosted this premium event for dacades, where the champions of many classes lock horns at the end of the championships season. This particular year it was held in LARKS and we see yachting legend Geoff Carveth to windward of Roger Yeoman, another doyen of so many classes.
Geoff is crewed but the boat’s talented owner, Martin Orton, Roger by the amazing John Brickwood. Great racing.
