Sail selection

We have tuned a version of each sail to fit the D+ mast, the sleeved ‘C’ and the Cumulus. The sailor’s weight is also taken into account in each sail.

For Wavelength and Needlespar we recommend the Dacron Code ADR and the sail is detailed to accomodate the helmsman’s sailing weight. Both are configured to deliver race-winning boatspeed right through the wind range

If you need a less powerful, more manageable sail for strong winds and prefer not to resort to the officisl ‘B’plan sail, consider our High-Wind Special.This sail is cut flatter and to the absolute minmum permitted size allowed by the rules. The general specification matches our full-size all-wind race sails.
