Just to let you know we had a good sail yesterday, and how pleased all our syndicate members are with the new jib- it sets beautifully. Thanks to your very helpful report on the condition of the severely damaged old sail we were also successful in securing a good settlement from our insurers.

 

We shall definitely need a new replacement cover for the Hawk for next season. Please could you provide us with a quote.

I have been out on the boat a few times now trying out the sails and they look magnificent. I attach a shot of the main taken yesterday. They are very different from the old Sanders sails with the main being much bigger and the jib a little smaller which has required me to learn to tack again. Not a problem if you ease out the main sheet a bit more and back the jib slightly going through the tack.

Many thanks for repairing my sail on time (RS 500 spinnaker). I particularly like the matched in stitching. Its attention to detail like this which is so often overlooked. I wont be leaving my sails in the boat again for the mice to enjoy.

Hi Dick ..  It was close for sure.  If our navigation while leading had been better we’d have won at least one maybe two more races.. The boat is going very well and although we’ve been using the new jib for a couple of seasons the event was the first time we’ve used the new main.  They do set well and are easy to read ……..

Absolutely delighted with the new jib. Easy to use and very fast. It was quite a shock to be mixing it with the big boys but our shortcomings were due to lack of practice. Now saving for the new mainsail!
