Hi Dick,

Had the Sonata spinnaker up for the first time this weekend, it’s been blowing old boots since we bought it! I’m delighted with the shape, thankyou again.

Hi Dick
Hope all is well.
We used the new sails for first time this week end.
They are fast.
Thank you.

Good Afternoon Dick

I thought that I would drop you a quick line to say how delighted I am with the new sails for Capriol!

We raced at the weekend in the Rowhedge Regatta and took a second place just behind Pete Taylor

(also sporting his new suit of Batt sails!). We were at one stage, half way round the course, in the lead

and would probably have maintained our position had helmsman error not put us on the putty allowing

Peter and another WOD (also sporting Batt Sails!) past! We regained second, but Peter had just a bit

too big a lead to haul him back.

I will be speaking to you towards the end of the year about a new spinnaker!

Thanks once again!

Kind regards

Dear Dick

I hope all well with you.

The sails are a complete success and set beautifully. I am very grateful.

Hi Dick

I have been out on the boat a few times now trying out the sails and they look magnificent. I attach a shot of the main taken yesterday. They are very different from the old Sanders sails with the main being much bigger and the jib a little smaller which has required me to learn to tack again. Not a problem if you ease out the main sheet a bit more and back the jib slightly going through the tack.

Good morning Dick

Just to let you know we had a good sail yesterday, and how pleased all our syndicate members are with the new jib- it sets beautifully. Thanks to your very helpful report on the condition of the severely damaged old sail we were also successful in securing a good settlement from our insurers.

We shall definitely need a new replacement cover for the Hawk for next season. Please could you provide us with a quote.

Hi Dick,

Thanks for the email. Yes very pleased with the jib thanks. I was 2nd over the water at the Punt Championships 2 weekends ago with an inexperienced crew, won the Ant Challenge Cup and was second (would have been first were it not for the spinnaker tack line breaking in the last race) in the Sundog Trophy at the Norfolk Punt Club regatta out of a fleet of 22 this past weekend. Still a bit to play with regards to the jib leach tension on reaches but in general the rig is working extremely well, especially upwind.
