” these same sails have now served for two VOLVO Ocean Races in succession”<\/strong><\/p>\n At each stopover of the VOLVO Ocean Race, the Race organisers provided team racing for local children in Optimist dinghies. Two complete sets of boats were created with four boats per team and one team per VOLVO Race entry and these were shipped ahead of the VOLVO Ocean Race fleet to be ready in port when the Race fleet arrived. Logistics meant that two fleets of Optimists were needed to stay ahead of the Ocean race.
